Albireo — the lovely double star at the head of the Swan, whose name means nothing at all: it is a chain of copying mistakes, a Greek word for 'bird' mangled through Arabic into a Latin herbal misreading, ab ireo. A name with no meaning that yet IS a name — the bare word in its purest form.
