Anansi Turtle Dinner

Turtle arrives at dinner time and Anansi, loath to share, insists Turtle wash his dusty hands first; each time Turtle returns from the river the food is lower, until Anansi has eaten it all. Turtle later invites Anansi to dine at the river bottom, where Anansi, unable to sink, watches helplessly as Turtle eats below. Moral: the trick you play returns to you in kind. — Anansi folktale
