Fisheries: wild-capture marine and freshwater fisheries plus aquaculture; global production ~180–185 million tonnes/year (2022); ~3.3 billion people rely on seafood as primary protein source; ~35% of wild stocks fished at biologically unsustainable levels (FAO 2022).
